Most approaches teach you about yourself. This one changes you.
Whether you've tried everything or you're starting from scratch: the question this work answers is the same, and it is this: how do you actually change, not just understand that you need to?
The gap isn't knowledge. It's level.
Most people who come to this work already understand themselves well. Others simply feel, clearly, that something needs to change. Either way the real question is the same: why hasn't it changed yet?
Usually because the tools are working at the wrong level. Talk therapy works at the level of language. Mindset coaching works at the level of thought. Both produce real insight, and insight has value, but insight alone doesn't reach the body, or the subconscious patterns formed before you had language for them.
My method works at every layer, from the surface patterns you can name down to the subconscious roots you cannot. That's why it produces change where other approaches produce understanding.
The Five Layers.
Change fails when it is attempted at the wrong level. So we work through all five, in order. Each one creates the conditions for the next.
Surface Change
Behaviours, beliefs and thought patterns, rewired at the root. This is where we build the language and the clarity. It is necessary, and on its own it is never enough.
The Emotional Layer
Held, intentional breathwork that reaches what words cannot. The body keeps a record the intellect has no access to. This is how we read it.
The Subconscious Layer
Clearing the roots of patterns held below conscious awareness. Not the story you tell about the pattern. The thing underneath it that keeps writing the story.
Expanded Awareness
Carefully held expanded-state work, in legal settings only. It opens doors nothing else opens. It is never a shortcut, and it is never the whole of the work.
Integration
Where the shift becomes permanent. Insight that is not integrated fades within weeks. This is the layer most people skip, and it is the reason most change does not last.- Legal frameworks only
- Board-certified
- Full preparation & integration
- Trauma-informed
This isn't spiritual bypassing or toxic positivity. It's honest, rigorous work that meets the whole person: mind, body, and everything in between.
Liam Hackett MBEPowerful. Carefully held. Never a shortcut.
Plant medicine and psychedelic experiences can catalyse profound shifts that sometimes take years of conventional work to reach. But the experience itself is only the beginning. What determines whether a ceremony or session produces lasting change is what happens before it, how it's held during, and how it's integrated afterwards. Some clients come to work with me specifically for psychedelic preparation and integration. Others come for coaching and breathwork and discover that plant medicine is a natural next step. Many never engage with it at all. This is not a prerequisite for working together, and it's never suggested unless it genuinely seems right. I've worked extensively with psilocybin and ayahuasca, both personally and in a facilitation context, and I train directly with an indigenous teacher in the Amazon as an apprentice curandero. My approach is not casual. It's grounded, held carefully, and always within legal frameworks. Before any expanded-state experience, we work on intention-setting, nervous system readiness, and what you want to move through. Proper preparation is the most underestimated factor in whether plant medicine produces lasting change.
For private psilocybin ceremony work in legal settings, I am present as a trained, board-certified guide, holding the container psychologically, emotionally and practically throughout. Including crisis management certification for difficult experiences.
The sessions that follow an experience are where most of the work actually happens, translating what opened into how you live. Without integration, even the most profound experience fades. This is where coaching, NLP and somatic work are most powerful.
Psychedelic work is available to those for whom it's genuinely right. It is never presented as necessary, never pressured, and never the default. Breathwork alone can reach comparable depth for many people.
