Honest answers to the questions people have before they reach out.
Having questions before you commit to something this personal is completely normal. Everything on this page reflects what people actually ask, answered as directly as possible.
Is this the right fit?
The most common questions before a first conversation. If you are unsure whether this work is for you, these should help you figure that out.
People come from genuinely different starting points. Some arrive having done years of therapy, coaching or personal development and feel they have reached a ceiling. Others arrive knowing only that something needs to change, without being able to name exactly what. Some are at a specific inflection point: a career ending, a relationship shifting, an identity they have outgrown.
What they share is not a particular profession, achievement level or prior experience with coaching. It is a genuine readiness for real, embodied change, not more conversation about change. If that describes where you are, you are in the right place.
Readiness does not mean having the answers or knowing exactly what you are working on. It means a genuine willingness to look honestly at what is not working, and to go further than you have before. You do not need the right words for it. Arriving with what is actually present is enough.
The intro call exists precisely to explore this. You will leave with a clearer sense of whether this work is the right fit for where you are right now, whether or not you decide to go further.
Not at all. Prior experience with personal development, therapy or spiritual practice is not required. You do not need a particular vocabulary for your experience or a framework for understanding yourself. Many clients come with none of that, and the work is all the more direct for it.
What matters is openness, not prior preparation. The work meets you where you actually are.
Every client's journey is shaped by what they bring. Common territory includes identity and purpose, recurring patterns that resist change, relationship dynamics, navigating major transitions, emotional numbness or disconnection, the gap between external success and inner fulfilment, breathwork and plant medicine preparation and integration, and the deeper question of how to live in a way that feels genuinely true.
Nothing is off-limits. The work meets you exactly where you are.
How this work actually differs.
Questions about the nature of the work, how it differs from therapy, and what makes it go deeper than conventional coaching.
Most coaching operates at the level of thought, goals and behaviour. It can produce genuine insights and is useful for many things. But insight alone does not reach the body, the nervous system, or the patterns formed before you had language for them. That is why people can understand themselves clearly and still repeat the same loops.
This work goes further because the tools go deeper. NLP, breathwork, timeline therapy, somatic practice and, where appropriate, expanded-state work can reach the layers that conversation alone cannot. The goal is not better thinking about your life. It is genuinely living it differently, in your body, not just your understanding of it.
Therapy, particularly psychotherapy, works within a clinical framework focused on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. It is often past-focused and oriented around symptom management or understanding. It is genuinely useful and many of Liam's clients work with a therapist alongside their coaching.
This coaching is forward-moving: it works with where you are and where you want to go, using NLP, breathwork, somatic practice and expanded-state work to create genuine shifts rather than managed ones. Liam is not a therapist and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. The two operate on different floors of the same building. They complement rather than replace each other.
The work draws on both Western psychology and indigenous traditions, and does not require you to hold any particular spiritual worldview. Clients include people with no religious beliefs and those with deep contemplative practices. The word "spiritual" here points to depth of experience, not doctrine.
The work is trauma-informed, psychologically grounded and practically oriented. It will not ask you to believe anything in particular. It will ask you to be genuinely present with your own experience, which is something anyone can do regardless of their beliefs.
What to actually expect.
The practical realities of how sessions run, how long they last, and what happens between them.
Sessions are 60 minutes and have no fixed script. They begin with a genuine check-in: not a status update, but a settling into where you actually are and what is present. That usually determines the direction of the session, which may shift from what you planned to discuss as the real thing surfaces.
From there, a session might move between conversation, NLP techniques, somatic tracking, breathwork or parts work, depending entirely on what is needed. If something is being discussed but not felt, we move toward the body. If something is held in the body, we give it space to move. The session finds its own shape around what is alive for you.
Most clients find that the 60 minutes is long enough to go somewhere genuinely useful and return grounded. The real work often continues in the days that follow.
The majority of sessions take place online via secure video call, which makes them accessible worldwide. Timezone flexibility is available for clients outside the UK. In-person sessions are also available in Brighton and London for those who prefer them. Breathwork in particular can be especially powerful in person.
Private intensives and retreat-format work take place in London, Brighton, Amsterdam and other bespoke locations. If you are based outside the UK and want to work in person, many clients travel for intensive engagements.
It varies meaningfully. Some clients come for a focused 12-week container around a specific threshold or integration. Others work on retainer over many months as their lives continue to evolve. The pace and duration are always co-created: shaped around your readiness, your circumstances and what the work is asking for.
Most clients begin to notice genuine shifts within the first few sessions. The deeper changes often consolidate over the following weeks and months as integration continues.
Investment and how it works.
Questions about fees, what is included, and how engagements are structured.
There are three main engagement options. Ongoing retainer coaching starts from £490 per month, with weekly or fortnightly 60-minute sessions, WhatsApp access between sessions and bespoke integration practices. The 12-week deep dive is a focused container for significant thresholds, priced from £3,950. Private intensives and retreats are priced on application depending on scope and format.
Every engagement begins with a private intro call. No fee applies until we have confirmed the right format for your situation.
Most clients who come to this work have already spent years in therapy, on self-development books, on courses and retreats that moved the needle but not enough. The question isn't whether £3,950 is a large investment. It is. The question is what another year of the same patterns, the same ceiling, the same quiet dissatisfaction actually costs you: in energy, in relationships, in the life you're not yet living.
Most clients describe this work as the most effective thing they've done by a significant margin. The intro call is free and comes with no obligation. It's the right place to start.
The 12-week deep dive includes 12 private 60-minute sessions, the full NLP, breathwork and somatic protocol, timeline therapy where relevant, bespoke integration practices between sessions, and WhatsApp access throughout. The work is shaped around your specific threshold or focus, not delivered as a fixed curriculum.
This is not a package of sessions: it is a held space for deep transformation that adapts to what the work is asking for at each stage.
Yes. Many clients transition to ongoing retainer coaching after an initial container, continuing the work at a pace that fits their life as it evolves. Others return for further intensives or retreat work at significant moments. The path is always co-created and there is no obligation to extend beyond what feels right.
Plant medicine and how it works here.
Common questions about psychedelic-assisted work: what it involves, whether it is legal, and whether it is required.
No. Psychedelic and plant medicine work is available for those for whom it is genuinely right. Many clients never engage with it at all. Many others do significant depth work through coaching, NLP, breathwork and somatic practice alone. Breathwork in particular can reach comparable depth to plant medicine for many people, without any substance.
Plant medicine is never the first thing discussed, never assumed, and never pressured. It surfaces naturally in some conversations and not at all in others. The work adapts entirely to what is right for each person.
Yes. Integration coaching itself is entirely legal: it supports people in preparing for and integrating experiences, wherever those experiences took place. Liam is a board-certified psychedelic integration coach and holds an additional certification in psychedelic crisis management.
For clients exploring psilocybin-based ceremony work, Liam facilitates in legal settings only. He does not supply any controlled substances. Private psilocybin retreats are held in jurisdictions where this is legal, currently including the Netherlands.
Preparation happens before any expanded-state experience. It includes intention-setting, nervous system readiness, and understanding what you want to move through. This is one of the most underestimated factors in whether a plant medicine experience produces lasting change.
Integration is the work that follows, translating what opened during the experience into how you actually live. This is where coaching, NLP and somatic work are most powerful. Without integration, even a profound experience fades as a vivid memory rather than a genuine shift.
For private psilocybin ceremony work in legal settings, Liam is present throughout as a trained guide and space-holder, holding the container psychologically and practically for the full experience.
Confidentiality and how this is held.
Questions about discretion, safety, and the practical container the work is held within.
Yes. Everything shared in sessions is held in strict confidence. The only exceptions are the standard legal and safeguarding obligations that apply to all coaching and therapeutic relationships, which are outlined clearly in the Coaching Agreement before any work begins.
Every enquiry is handled personally by Liam and reviewed with complete discretion before any response is sent.
Yes. A significant proportion of clients work in public-facing roles and require high levels of discretion. The work is built for this: sessions held privately, communication handled directly and personally, and the nature of the engagement kept entirely confidential.
If you are a public figure or someone for whom visibility creates specific sensitivities, this can be discussed during the intro call before any further detail is shared.
The simplest first step is the private intro call, which you can book directly using the calendar on this page or the Let's Connect page. No application form is required before that conversation.
During the intro call, we explore what is happening for you, whether this work is a good fit, and what format makes most sense. Every enquiry receives a personal reply from Liam within 48 hours.
